Skee-Ball is a fun remake of a classic arcade redemption game, in which you win tickets by flicking balls into hoops.
Very easy to pick up, Skee-Ball involves aiming and flicking your finger upwards to launch a ball at the series of hoops at the top of the screen. You can add spin to the ball while it's in flight in order to better direct it. Hoops are numbered to correspond with the number of points you get for landing in them.
You win tickets based on the number of points you score in each game (which lasts for ten balls). There are all manner of bonus points available for combos, and for hitting the lit-up targets. Skee-Ball's addictiveness is enhanced because of this, as you try to save tickets to be redeemed for items on the goody shelf.
The graphics in Skee-Ball are very good, and the game's NVIDIA PhysX engine delivers very smooth, accurate ball physics.
Though the game itself is very repetitive, Skee-Ball is still a highly addictive recreation of an arcade classic. A tough one to put down!
